We offer fabulous Cardiff apartments which can accommodate between 1 - 6 guests. All our apartments enjoy water views with balconies. On site leisure facilities include pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym. Frankie and Benny's, Morrisons supermarket and Harvester are within walking distance as is the amazing new International Pool. Children are very welcome.

Directions from the M4 At junction M4-J29 change from M4 onto the A48(M) in direction CARDIFF (E & S), A48(M), CAERDYDD (DN & D) . Follow the A48(M) for 2.3 miles Leave A48(M) at junction M4-J29a and join Eastern Avenue (A48). Stay on for 6.28 miles. Leave Eastern Avenue (A48) and turn left into Cardiff Road (A4119). Stay on for 2.49 miles Leave Cardiff Road (A4119) and turn right into Holmesdale Street. Stay on for 0.27 miles Leave Holmesdale Street and turn left into Amherst Street. Stay on for 0.11 miles. Leave Amherst Street and turn right into Ferry Road. Carry on past the lights and turn left at the IKEA roundabout. Head straight on about 0.5 mile and go straight over the roundabout and under the dual carriageway bridge. Prospect Place is on your left drive up to the second set of lights and turn left at concierge. Carry on and to your right is Aldernay house, next is Breakwater House. Park up here and ring the number that Laterooms sent you by email. Alternatively park at Morrisons opposite Prospect Place get the shopping out of the way and then call us. We will arrive with keys within 10-15 minutes. Please ring Laterooms who will contact us if there any difficulties. Cabs from station: Ask for Prospect Place Cardiff Bay and/or Morrisons Cardiff Bay. IMPORTANT: Call us on the number provided by your Laterooms email confirmation when you arrive at Prospect Place. A representative will meet you at the apartment to give you a tour of the facilities and keys.

At first we couldn't find the apartments but on calling the contact he met us and escorted us there. The area itself is being re-developed and feels a little isolated but if you have a car it is fine. However, we didn't fancy walking across the roadbridge at night to Mermaid quay, as it felt too quiet. The apartment itself was a modern new build, very nicely finished and extremely clean. There were no problems with the heating and water. Given some of the previous reviews it was clear that the company have worked hard to ensure that there were no problems. We used the swimming pool in the nearby apartment complex. Although the pool was very small, it was empty during the working week and so we had it to ourselves, which was great! We would really recommend staying here as a good value alternative to a hotel. It was nice to have the option to stay in the apartment during the day without the pressure of having to leave the place in the morning as one would in a hotel.

Stayed on New Years eve as a base for a night in Cardiff. Very friendly welcome and thorough showround. A bottle of Champagne was left for us in the fridge as a gift and the manager even bought some champagne glasses specially for us. Nice easy walk over to mermaid quay. Lovely setting to wake up to with or without a hangover!
