This is a great location, as others have said, very central for shopping, the docks and night life. (In that resepct it can be a bit noisy, but we thought it was OK for the benefit of being close to services we wanted to use). It's not a chain, so you get a great personal touch from the owners, who are easy to sort things out with. It could be a snag about needing cash to pay when you arrive, but now you know, you can just get organised! I hesitate to be too warm about it, incase it gets so busy I can't book again when I next want a weekend in the City of Culture, but, yeah, we thought it was great. |

The apartment is very central and in a vibrant part of the city, close to shops, major attractions and, we found, good restaurants. It was well equipped and in pristine condition on arrival - with tea/coffee, milk and a bottle of wine to welcome us! Caroline and Atul were very much in the background, but very friendly and helpful. Quite a few steps up to the flat, but we're getting on a bit and we had no probs. If you sleep with the windows open, you hear a fair bit of, well, Liverpool. |
