Antoinette Hotel

Room Service was advertised until 2am but after midnight there was no response from room service or reception. Breakfast was good but they ran out of egg and plates and it had to be pointed out.

At GPB55 (US$91) this hotel is fine for a slightly more experienced traveler. It gives you access to Surbiton's train station (10 minute walk) and a vastly lower per-night rate than hotels in central London. Trains leave VERY frequently from Surbiton for Waterloo station.
The Antoinette Hotel has zippy enough management and staff but the rooms are TINY and the place is certainly "faded". This is true for many hotels in England. For example, the Antoinette's bathroom sinks have SEPARATE cold and hot water. If you needed warm water -- forget it.
I've stayed here before and will probably stay here again based solely on price.

Overpriced and wish i'd avoided it. Had work clothes on when I booked in so staff looked at me as if I was something they had stood on.Small single bed, room tiny with only one bulb out of 3 working. Breakfast way overpriced at £8.95 and they charge £5 for parking my van in the car park even though I was stopping there. Will not be satying there again.
I wish I'd read the negative reviews here and on Tripavisor before booking

This hotel is certainly overpriced for the service offered. The hotel is tacky, with some carpets in need of a good clean. In the room that I stayed in of the 3 lights in the light fitting only one bulb worked. The bedside light did not work and the room was cold. After mentioning this to the reception staff I was provided with an additional heater. Food was not very nice but the service was reasonable. In addition there was a £5:00 charge for the car park.
