We wanted a 3 day break near Portsmouth and we were not dissapointed with this hotel, service, staff and the rooms everything was spot on we would certainly go there again and I would highly recommend it. The only down side was that the rooms were very hot, because there was no tempreture control, saying that it was warm all week.

When I book again, would request a room with a veiw (we were on the ground floor looking out on a bank of shrubs), but this did not spoil our stay. We were unable to swim on the Tuesday morning due to a swimming class.

The hotel was easy to get to, has a friendly atmosphere and had health facilities that I would like to have been able to use but could not because I had my 13 yr old son with me. He was not allowed into any of them apart from the swimming pool but this had a class at the time and was unavilable. The golfing side was very good though and the personnel made every effort to accomodate us both even though we had not played golf before.
