We are a family run business offering excellent customer service and first class hospitality making your stay comfortable and relaxing. Your holiday well and truly starts here! The Glenroy hotel is in a prime location in Blackpool located centrally between the pleasure beach, central pier and tower. A two minute walk will bring you to the famous trams on the promenade and then down onto the beach where you can enjoy miles of golden sand. All of our rooms are en-suite with colour TV, hair-dryer and tea & coffee making facilities. We have a fully licenced bar with a patio garden looking towards the promenade with sea views. On arrival we provide complimentary tea & coffee and are able to secure your luggage for you if you arrive early.

Arriving into Blackpool from the M55 motorway go onto the A5230 dual carriageway sign posted progress way - continue towards the promenade onto Squires gate lane - past the airport on the left hand side heading towards the promenade and pleasure beach. Take the right hand turn onto the promenade heading towards the Tower go past the pleasure beach on your right hand side and the Sandcastle leisure centre on the left. Continue still heading towards the tower past the south pier, past the Lyndene (blue hotel on right) and just past turn right at the Arcadian onto to Trafalgar Road where we are situated on the left-hand side. From Blackpool airport you can contact us where we will arrange a taxi to pick you up or follow the directions as above.

Not the most luxurious hotel, but then it doesn't claim to be. What you do get is an extremely warm welcome, convenient location and excellent value.

Right between Blackpools main clubs and the Pleasure Beach, about a 10/15 minute walk to each. Pat was very welcoming and helpful and showed us maps of the different bars and clubs we would be going to that night. He also didnt mind us getting back at half 2 in the morning and leaving a bit later then check out the next day! Would definatly go and stay again.

If you are thinking of going to Blackpool and want a nice hotel and the most friendly service ever then go to the Glenroy Hotel. Pat and Maureen made us so welcome for our weekend break. The room was a bit dated but clean, the breakfast could not be faulted. The hotel is in a perfect situation for the beach, the shops and all the attractions. We will be back!

Only downside is the bar closing so early! otherwise good stay, very friendly and helpful.

As stated by the owner, a refurbishment to upgrade the rooms / asthetics / cleanlyness etc to be done. I would say the warmth and dealing was excellent and very helpfull... ...
