Made to feel very welcome, the food was excellent and was clean and well decorated. Stayed here when travelling with work and will definitely be staying here again when I am in the area.

We found the proprietors both helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We only stayed for one night but would consider visiting again in the future

A very relaxing environment, just as long as you are not a clock watcher *smiles*. The owners have many wonderful old clocks that gently tick and chime, while I enjoyed the warm friendly service, and excellent food, and relaxing in front of the real fire.... a lovely way to end a busy day.
I look forward to the opportunity to visit this area again and I would book a room in this hotel again with pleasure.

Food was excellent and directions were provided with booking form. My special diet was provided for even though I had not let the hotel know before arrival. A very enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings.
