DRIVING NORTH ALONG THE A9, DRIVE PAST AVIEMORE TURN-OFF. YOU SHOULD THEN TAKE THE 1ST TURN ON YOUR RIGHT AFTER THE AVIEMORE TURN-OFF ( MARKED ELGIN/GRANTOWN ON SPEY). FOLLOW THIS ROUTE MAKING NO TURNS UNTIL YOU REACH THE FIRST ROUNDABOUT AT THE ENTRANCE TO GRANTOWN ON SPEY. DRIVE STRAIGHT THROUGH THIS ROUND-ABOUT(do not go in to Grantown) AND ONTO THE SECOND ROUND-ABOUT. TAKE TURN ON RIGHT OVER THE BRIDGE - YOU WILL STILL BE FOLLOWING THE A95 ELGIN/WHISKEY TRAIL ROUTE. DRIVE STRAIGHT ON FOR 3 MILES UNTIL YOU REACH THE VILLAGE OF CROMDALE. DRIVE STRAIGHT THROUGH THE VILLAGE AND OVER THE SMALL BRDIGE. EDEN HOUSE IS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY ON YOUR RIGHT. TRAIN STATIONS : THE NEAREST STATION IS CARR-BRIDGE ALTHOUGH AVIEMORE IS ALSO CLOSE-BY AND TAXIS ARE AVAILABLE TO FERRY YOU TO EDEN HOUSE(20 MINS DRIVE APPROX). AIRPORT: THE NEAREST AIRPORT IS INVERNESS APPROX 45MINS-1 HR DRIVE TO EDEN HOUSE. THERE ARE LINKS TO INVERNESS FROM MOST UK AIRPORTS.

This B&B is by far the best i have ever stayed in,the owners were wonderful and very friendly,the food outstanding,the rooms and decor first class as well as the cleanliness. We will definately be back again and again

Beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, Eden House provides a wonderful environment for a get-away. The owners have provided a very relaxing environment which the guest is welcomed to use to the full. Bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge would not be bettered in the most expensive hotel. Although not exclusively Organic or Fair Trade, a good balance is struck between luxury and ethics and there is thoughtful provision of herbal teas, handmade soaps, scented candles etc.
The pub nearby is OK, but nothing special, but there is a range of good restaurants in Grantown and the Indian is definitely worth a try. Eden House is set in a good location for touring around Speyside and if you are at all interested, have a trip on the Steam Railway. The Boat of Garten Hotel is also excellent for lunch.
