Location isn't the best if you want to do anything that involves taxi's however if you dont mind a little drive its not far from either Thirsk or York. Friday night was very quiet, there was a wedding reception on the saturday which was for the most part not noticed. Really enjoyable, good faciliities, rooms fine, nice breakfast - would definately go again. |

We used this hotel for a weekend visit to york, it is very easy to get to the park and ride as it is a very straight forward journey to get there from the hotel. |

The rooms are fairly basic in a Travel lodge type style but for the money we paid I was overjoyed at the accommodation. A good bar, restaurant and location. |

I booked last minute, so got a good rate, but was a bit disappointed on arrival ,as from the photograph on The Late Rooms website, I thought I would be staying in an olde worlde type of hotel. Instead, I felt as though I was staying in a Travel Lodge. The extension to the hotel is totally out of character with the rest of the surroundings, however, the rooms were clean and the staff helpful. |
