The Limes is a family run establishment set in six acres of beautiful rural grounds in Earlswood and is situated just a 2 minute drive away from junction 3 of the M42. Its country setting makes it an ideal venue for those guests wanting something unique.
We provide the perfect blend of traditional style with modern comforts. All rooms are decorated to a high standard and are equipped with broadband Internet connection, digital TV with 30+ channels, tea and coffee making facilities and minibars.
The Limes, where the highest standards of hospitality, comfort and service are taken for granted, still has all of its original character and charm combined with new modern facilities.

The instruction for drivers could be more exact, especially nowadays with sat-nav. This nice hotel situates at the end of the T road/lane junction, but virtually right in front of you to the left facing lane hidden in sight as you approached by car, so if one drove and turn right, even the sav-nav says 'you've arrived at your destination', I just missed it!
Nice and quiet place in the country, five to ten minutes away from Shirley.
Was ask do I need continental breakfast...yes on the phone before my departure, yest again when I arrived, but still failed to materialised. At the end, it's worth waiting for, breakfast on a tray, delivered to the room from 7:30am.
Checking out is ease itself, no signature required once confirmed paid by card, receipt ready with breakfast.
An enjoyable relaxing stay before the hectic day of work ahead.
Suggests if travel to Solihull the next morning, go through Shirley instead, avoiding traffic jam on motorway and round-about route thru town centre of Soilhull, if destination are the Courts/Police/Home Office.
This hotel gets my vote, usually my wife accompanying my travels, she missed it this trip, will take her there next trip to Solihull.
One more thing; the room, No.3, slightly noisey with the auto start of central heatings etc, if you have a choice, give that a missed.

Excellent location, just a few minutes off the M42 but in a quiet, rural setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Our breakfast was delivered to our room at the exact time we requested. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Limes and would definately return.

only problem i had was the room above mine had creaking floorboards and was kept awake untill after midnight
