The family run Holland Arms Hotel in North Wales is centrally located on The Isle of Anglesey between Gaerwen and Llangefni in the small hamlet of Pentre Berw.
The hotel is just a few hundred yards from the A55 expressway, the Holyhead ferry port is just a 15 minute drive away.
The location of the hotel makes it an ideal choice for both a business trip and pleasure holiday break.
Anglesey and North Wales offer great beaches for all the family to enjoy, fishing and golfers are also spoilt for choice.
Pentre Berw has many walking and cycling paths to choose from for the more active visitors.
Anglesey's varied coastline offers vast opportunities for an active holiday. Water Sports such as Surfing, Wind Surfing, Water Skiing, Scuba Diving, Sailing, Yachting, Canoeing etc. are available at many of the coastal resorts. Fishing, Golfing, Cycling, Horse Riding, and Trekking are also offered at numerous places both inland and out.
The Small Family Run Holland Arms Hotel offers guest the flexibility of staying on either a room only basis or bed and breakfast accommodation.
The hotel has 5 letting rooms, 2 of which are en-suite and the other 3 rooms share 2 bathrooms which are located opposite. All rooms have T V and tea & coffee making facilities. Car parking is available for all guests.
The dining lounge area serves meals all day from 12 noon until 8pm (Monday to Saturday) and every Sunday from 12 noon until 4pm the hotel offers a delicious carvery.

The hotel is cenrally located on the island of Anglesey just a couple of miles off the A55 expressway. The exit for the village of Gaerwen is just approx 3 miles after crossing the brittannia bridge on to the island J7. AT the top of the sliproad turn left, ater 50 yards turn right on the roundabout and continue through the village of Gaerwen (approx 1mile) The HOLLAND ARMS HOTEL is located on the left hand side right on the A5 holyhead road. **Please Note** the hotel does not have 24 hour reception, check-in is strictly between 4.30pm and 11.30pm The hotel has live entertainment on some Saturday nights, some low level noise can be noticable from the rooms. Please phone prior to booking for further details.

Booked here for a stopover ready to catch ferry in the morning but didn't realise hotel is more than 30 minutes away from port: earliest breakfast is 07.30 & latest bookin at ferry was 0800! My fault for not checking, I guess.
Arrived after their kitchen closed at 20.00 - our fault because of traffic - but landlord did find us a meal out of the freezer.
Bed comfy; room in need of refurb; only one socket for television OR kettle; milk 'sachets' all out of date by up to 6 months; no hot water in room but available down corridor in either of the 2 bathrooms, one of which had a door that was almost impossible to close.

Very friendly welcome, great staff, food (home made) was great in evening and at breakfact time.
This a homely pub with rooms - compare it it to a good hostel, not your average hotel, which would cost much more.
Shared bathroom facilities - door does not lock! Easy to correct this though.

Lively pub, but no real facilities for younger children. Children were welcome in the pub area for late night entertainment.

Easy to find, good old-fashioned 'pub with rooms'. Our room was 'en suite', others aren't. Don't stay here if you are going to be fussy about the decor; do stay here if you appreciate a warm welcome, a wholesome breakfast, and above all, unbeatable value for money.
