Buckingham Lodge

The Buckingham Lodge is conveniently located in a quiet tree-lined road with only a short walk to the beach at Torre Abbey Sands, Railway Station, Riviera Conference & Leisure Centre and Shops. Also within walking distance are the Princess Theatre, Harbour and main shopping area of Torquay.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and are all ensuite, many with both a bath and shower facility. Each room has free internet access, t.v. radio alarm clock, hairdryer, complimentary tea/coffee facilities and complimentary washing products.

From the end of the M5 at Exeter, take the A38 until they separate. Follow the A380 to Newton Abbot and continue on this road until you reach the roundabout at the English Riviera. Follow the A380 signposted to Torquay. Keep to the left hand lane until you see (on the right hand side) a Halfords & Torre Station - bear right at the Traffic lights (signposted Paignton & Seafront) into Avenue Road. Great hotel,very friendly hosts who could not do enough for you.Clean rooms but hotel looked a bit iierd.

Steve & Nicola are very welcoming and friendly people, giving us a mug of tea on arrival; Only too pleased to give any help or advice. Breakfasts are very good, and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. We didn't use the bar facility, but this seemed to be very
competitively priced. Would definitely recommend this for a stay in Torquay.

After spending 3 hours on the internet trying to decide which guesthouse to choose, all I can is I made the perfect choice. Great place to stay with fantastic rooms, brilliant hospitality and within walking distance to everything. My husband and I will be going back...that's for sure.
