I realise that the hotel / B&B is cheap so I dont expect it to have everything, but I do expect a peaceful sleep. We were put in room 11 which was located to some PUMP which would go off whenever someone went to the bathroom. On the first morning, the pump (which is very loud) started going off from 6.30am !! Rest and relaxtion was thrown out of the window. The pump also went off during the night !! No point complaining as B&B was fully booked and we would not have been moved. |

The hotel was excellent. The only area for improvement would be the narrow entrance to the car park. Not for a faint hearted driver! The owner was a real character, very lovely man who made the stay a lot of fun. |

My room was basic and in need of some redecoration. The shared bathroom could have done with some modernisation too. To be fair, the hotel was in the process of being redecorated, which should improve matters. For the money, it couldn't really be faulted. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was good. Although there is off-street parking at the back of the hotel, this is limited and access is via a very narrow opening between the two buildings. I managed to scrape both mirrors on my Peugeot 307 on the walls before I had time to realise how narrow the access was. Anyone with a large vehicle shouldn't really attempt to park there and to be on the safe side I would recommend that mirrors should be folded back before attempting to park! |
