Gran Via-Sol Apartments are located in the heart of Madrid in one of the most visited streets of downtown Gran Via and at only 200m away from Puerta del Sol. The apartments have been recently renovated.
Taking the subway from the airport it will get you to the very door of the building where these apartments are located. It’s a great location to start your walk into the heart of the city and do all your shopping in the exquisite commercial area of Hortaleza, Fuencarral and Preciados Streets. After this walk you can have a snack in any of the uncountable restaurants and tapas bars in the area.
Walking a couple of minutes would get you to Puerta del Sol and in ten minutes at Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Santa Ana, Teatro Real, Palacio de Oriente and its gardens, Plaza de Cibeles and the neighbourhood of Madrid de los Austrias. Also just by walking from your apartment you can easily reach the outstanding museums Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofia and the great theatres and as much nightlife as you wish. The three-bedroom apartment is located near IFEMA, Madrid.

Hotel room clean and tidy with great equipment. However lift not working and we were on the 6th floor! Hotel is located right in the red light district, is ok if this doesnt bother you but def not recommended for families or elderly people.

The apartment was really nice, modern and a great size. As a party of six girls visiting Madrid for the first time the location in terms of accesibility was good although when coming out of the apartment and turning left onto Montera this was home to the prostitutes of Madrid, which as you can imagine wasn't pleasent! However turning right you were directly on Gran Via which is one of the most central roads in Madrid. Overall a great location and lovely apartment but wouldn't recommend for girls on their own due to suspect characters hanging around!
