Heckfield Place

Heckfield Place is a beautiful 18th Century country house resting in 65 acres of Georgian parkland with arboretum, gardens and two idyllic lakes.
With 70 bedrooms, Heckfield Place offers you comfortable accommodation in which to relax. All rooms are en-suite with telephone, minibar and remote control colour TV with satellite channels, Tea and Coffee making facilities, Iron ironing board and Hair Dryer.
Wireless internet is accessable throughout the buiklding and an internet suite is available for all guests to use
A Full English Breakfast is included. Lunches and dinners available in our Cedar Lake Restaurant. Or just enjoy our Stables Bar for a quiet relaxing evening.
Full access to our fitness room is included in price.

my ground floor room with french windows had no net curtain. Very strange. This hotel doesnt seem to have any curtains. This is the first time I have stayed in a room with vertical blinds instead. You have to keep the windows shut. Single bed reminded me of university acc. Shower no bath. Poor value at £80

Room decoration and facilities were tired and in need of refresh. Very warm room at night due the hot day resulted in a poor nights sleep. Lovely hotel grounds and Restaurant. Staff very helpfull, enthusiastic and friendly.

If you like being woken up at 4 am ask to be put in the rooms with sky lights rather than windows. the blinds fail entirely to keep out the dawn. £100 was exhorbitant. The desk clerk said i was the first to complain and made no apology or sympathetic gesture.
Dinner however was good!
