A new 3 star hotel, located in the heart of Athens, Joker hotel is a great base for touring the city. It is close to all major tourist attractions, and shopping and restaurant facilities. Further, as it is centrally based, it is simple to travel to any part of Athens just steps away from the hotel. The port of Pireus and the Athens international airport are easy to reach from the hotel.Just ask our friendly staff to guide you to the nearby Subway staxion. The variety of room types (including actuat quadruple and quintuple rooms) make it also an excellent choice for families, couples and business trips. All the rooms are well decorated, clean and welcome you to relax and enjoy your stay.
The hotel has a warm and friendly restaurant offering a variety of plates representative of Greek and Balcanian cuisine. Spacious and comfortable it is ideal for both the indivindual traveler as well as groups.

The metro costs 8 EUR per adult from the airport. By bus: Take the X95 bus from the airport to Syntagma Square. From Syntagma, take the metro to Omonia metro Station. The hotel is only a short walk from Omonia Station. Bus costs 2.90 EUR per adult, and the metro from Syntagma costs 0.80 EUR From Omonia metro station: Walk up Kostantinou Street until you reach Koumoundourou Street, then turn left on Koumoundourou street, the hotel is on 13th Koumoundourou str.

If you are intending to use this hotel as a base to tour Athens, then it serves its purpose. The rooms I ordered for our party of 10 were booked as double rooms, though upon arrival we were given twin rooms & triple room. The shower in my particular room hadn't progressed much since the 70's. Boiling hot or freezing cold, no in between. The hotel staff were very friendly & the cleaners were very thorough in their job. Another quick tip, watch out for the elevators !! Great fun if you like fun park rides, but if you don't like using them, I reccommend the stairs instead.

The area is shady at night, but we didn't feel we were in danger. The morning and daytime were wonderful. The hotel looks a little rough on the outside, but the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful, though communicating didn't come easy.
