We really enjoyed our stay at the verde apartment. It is modern, spacious and very clean and I would highly recommend the apartment as a more flexible alternative to staying in a hotel. The owners have provided a detailed and very useful information pack and we were impressed with the quality of the breakfast provisions. Only a 10 minute walk into the city centre , Glasgow Green on the doorstep and a pub serving quality ale round the corner - excellent.

Immaculate condition, well equipped; this apartment is definitely up there with the best. Billie is freindly and very knowledgable about the area and places/bars to visit, which are only a 15 minute stroll through the park to the City centre or 5 mniutes by cab.

Our stay at Verde was fantastic! The level of service, quality of accommodation, comfort, food and overall standard was extremely high. Being based virtually on Glasgow Green was also an added bonus and as someone who rents apartments often, I would have no hesitation recommending to others or staying here again. Great!

I spent two nights at the Verde due to business commitments in Glasgow and I decided to stay at the Verde after spotting it on laterooms.
Initial Impressions:
Billy greeted us on arrival and spent time showing us around the flat as well as providing information regarding the local area. Billy is really friendly and an excellent host and the apartment was warm and inviting. I have stayed in a number of apartments throughout the UK however it’s very rare to find one where the host provides such excellent attention to detail and nice little touches. For example Billy had already stocked the fridge with milk, yogurts and orange juice as well as providing bread, croissants and tea. The bathroom has indulgent bath products, fluffy cotton towels and wonderfully warm dressing gowns.
The Apartment:
The apartment has a really nice feel and it was extremely well furnished with chunky furniture and expensive appliances. The apartment comes complete with a large lcd screen and a home theatre kit, perfect for winding down after a long days work. The apartment is next door to a beer brewery which serves excellent food and amazing German beer. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed as well as a dab radio and ample storage facilities. The apartment doesn’t have a dedicated parking space however there are a number of secure slots at the rear of the apartment which can be seen from the lounge.
Overall:
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Verde and I will no doubt be using it next time I visit Glasgow. It’s a perfect base for a business trip, weekend retreat or for a short stay with your other half.

By habit we are generally the types that stay in hotels, thinking that it would be inconvenient not to have a reception desk. But who needs a reception desk when the welcome is as warm as that provided by Billy at the Verde Apartment! Everything went seamlessly.
The apartment itself was modern and well equipped. Lovely touches were added, like fruit provided, milk, bread, bottled water....and this wasn't even the continental breakfast, which itself was great.
Took a taxi into central Glasgow for a meal, then came back and chilled with a bottle of wine and a DVD on the rather impressive Plasma TV/surround sound system. Lovely lovely very comfortable stay all round. An apartment for as cheap or cheaper than a central hotel.
