We were very disappointed on arriving at 17.10 on a Saturday not to be able to get in until 18.20. The phone was not answered and when the manager arrived we got a lukewarm apology and were told we should have known it would be unmanned as "it is an Inn not a hotel". There was no indication on our booking confirmation to tell us that we could not check in before 18.20! Our room was clean but dusty. The disabled toilet in the Inn was completely full of stored dirty bedding and therefore unusable. |

Beutiful, friendly hotel. We stayed in a family room with our 3 year old daughter. The couple who ran the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the room was perfect for our needs and very tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were exceptional and we had our dinner there for the 2 nights that we stayed which was a very high standard, reasonably priced and catered well for our choice as well as our 3 yr old. |

Fantastic service, food excellent, wonderful country surroundings, rooms clean and comfortable, staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, they even opened up the breakfast early as we were geting married at 9.30am. Will recomend this Inn to all friends and family who are visiting Bath and the surrounding area. |

This Hotel was difficult to find and seemed to be more than 9 miles from Longleat (as advertised). The setting was lovely, the room fabulous, the food excellent. The waiter serving breakfast was a bit distracted and distant he was neither welcomingnor friendly which for me would have made a big the difference to the overall impression of the stay. |

This Inn is in the back of beyond, which is great!! You do need a car to get around, however if you like country walks, you are in the right place. |
