We had a lovely stay. The flat was clean and the welcome basket a nice suprise and we were made very welcome when we arrived. The swimming pool was available when we wanted it. Watching the white barn owl fly across the field below was fasinating. |

The cottage was small but lovely and tasteful. However the top of the bed has not been dusted since Tudor times! Also, I did not like the fact that you can't adjust the heating - both my partner and I woke up FREEZING in the middle of the night even with the 'heat' onl The pool and jacuzzi were nice but the sauna didn't work. Lovely grounds and the people were very nice. |

Went here as a pre-Christmas treat for our boys, (3 & 6). What a wonderful place, stayed in the Manners cottage. Had everything you could think of in the kitchen and a lovely welcome pack. Children enjoyed the pool, ponies and fuss made over them by the staff. Sleeping in a four poster bed was quite novel. The heating was on full blast at all times and plenty of hot water. Staff not in your face but there if you needed anything. Only slight negative was the slight fusty, damp smell, (the building is over 200 years old). We bought a scented candle, sorted. A beautiful setting. We will go back to stay in a bigger cottage with friends. |
