This hotel is in the middle of refurbishment. It will be excellent when complete. We would have appreciated parking facilities for the disabled.

I was apprehensive before arriving because of comments posted.I thought the hotel was dated our room smelt pretty bad like it had been flooded,although it was a good size with a nice view to the gardens. The staff were helpful and friendly.The food was of high quality.The bacon was the best I've eaten and freshly made. Don't think you're getting a cheap deal with late rooms the prices were exactly the same.

the hotel was uder construction work on the exterior and a reduction of £10 was given for this but this did not excuse the poor decoration of the beroom, the mould around the floor, the paint flaking off the ceiling in the bathroom, or the lack of adequate toiletries or the room not cleaned or fresh towels given until 4.30 pm after we complained.
