Our second visit to the hotel on our way from London to Cornwall. We did not eat in the hotel but went into town but found the choice of restuarants very limited for a Saturday night. Room was an excellent size with a balcony and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent and we would visit again. |

Staff excellent. Lovely spacious, clean room. Comfy bed. Dinner was good but not as outstanding as the service and pianist assisted ambience might suggest. Booked dinner for 8pm (not really late) and felt a little rushed with no breathing space between courses. Breakfast, however, really tasty. Everything good quality. Wouldn't pay normal tariff, but perfectly satisfied with my LateRooms deal. |

Despite awful weather on arrival we had a very warm, friendly, professional welcome. The room was gorgeous with a fantastic seaview (inexpected), the bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee in room and good sized bathroom. Heating on so lovely and warm and hot water. The breakfast was really good and lots to eat too. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning. |

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was upgraded to a sea view room free of charge. Although the clientele were mainly much older than us and the hotel a little 'old fashioned' ,catering for the more mature clientele, it was a very pleasant hotel. Good quality furnishings and nice bathroom. Bedroom design was a little dated but very good quality..We were without our children on this trip and although the staff were friendly and I'm sure would welcome families, I'm not sure the older clients would be very tolerant?? The rooms were spacious and well furnished with beautiful views of the cliffs and sea. The patio was a nice place to sit and have a drink with a great view.Couldn't fault the value for money and helpful staff. |
