This is very much the home of proprieters Hester and Eddie. Not the least bit hotel like, very much a warm, welcoming, cosy retreat in the middle of the countryside. Whilst the room was a tad basic, the bed was very comfortable and the house is beautifully furnished and upmarket . Hesters breakfasts are totally delicious |

The room was very comfortable and the house beautiful. Whilst the family were very friendly, they were also very busy, and each morning I had to fit in with their arrangements. Two of the mornings I was encouraged to leave directly after breakfast, and on the other had to be up sooner than planned because of their committments. I felt quite awkward because of this. If you stay there you need to be prepared to fit in with the busy lives of a friendly family. |
