This is, in summary a grubby, old fashioned, unfriendly and vastly over priced hotel. This was a really disappointing stay in Rome - At the incredible price I was expecting five star service and looking forward t osome real luxury, but right from the check in where staff did not bother to even make eye contact and grumbled all the way through, to being told in no uncertain terms tha the famed and much publicised roof bar and restaurant is not open to you even as a resident unless you are eating a meal. Without this there is nothing to recommend this hotel. The main bar area was deserted every evening, the decor is very 70's and extremely tired and the room was old fashioned and grubby. Save your money and go elsewhere.
