I stayed in the single room which was small but quiet and comfortable. Good value for money. The staff were friendly and the free wi-fi is a nice bonus.

first off, the food was AMAZING. im a big guy, i like good food and lots of it. the hotel bar offered a good selection of food if you eat meat. the vegetarian option was a little short, but ok. i had the chilli and it was perfect. also, try the home made cheesecake. it is to die for. i almost clubbed the chef and took him home with me.
the establishment was let down by the room. the toilet was a little small, but big enough to do your business in. the shower drained very slowly and wasnt very big. this ha its upside thought, meant the lady-friend couldnt take ages to get ready ;) the bed was a little uncomfy and it creaked like there was no tomorrow! also the headboard felt a little loose. it never collapsed though. the photos are generous with the room size. thats why we booked up here. the rooms looked good sized and at the price it coulnt be turned down. also the wallpaper was hanging off the wass and very dirty/marked.
this part didnt bother me, but we went out into town at night, but might bother other people. the Sky tv didnt work. we got about 8 channels.
i would recommend eating here, but not staying. there are planty other hotels/b&b in the area. hope this helps!!

There was a price discrepancy bewtenn price booked at Laterooms and what the Hotel wanted, nearly doubling the Laterooms £50 price and causing a disagreement with the hotel's proprietors on arrival. (We agreed an intermediate price though) The bedroom, although described as newly refurbished ,was already looking tired with small oil fired heater heating (needed in February), toilet cistern needed water supply turning on and shower broken.
Food was excellent which together with the nicely furnished snug and restaurant was very welcome. Good selection of wines Location near to Conwy river beautiful and convenient for travelling to nearby Llandudno and Conwy. Great walking country.
Shame about the negatives though and I don't think Micheal Winner will be visiting too soon!
