Shottle Hall Country House Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel situated in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside. Forming part of the famous Chatsworth estate we pride ourselves on quality and service. Shottle hall has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We believe Shottle hall is the ideal stop-over for corporate and leisure guests.
We are ideally located just north of Derby and you can be within the city centre in approximately 15 minutes. We are closely located to both major motorways and also East Midlands airport is a short drive from the property.
We are passionate about food here at Shottle Hall and have a fantastic reputation for high quality locally produced menu’s. We offer an a’la carte menu and also a more laid back bar/room service menu.

Nice place, secluded but easy to find. Vary good grounds and standard of decor throughout. Didn't get to try food on the evening but breakfast was excellent. TV not working in room but only found out late on and had PSP so not really an issue - I'm confident something would have been sorted had I noticed earlier. Bathroom clean and modern with an extensive range of bath/shower goodies supplied. About 15min drive to Derby centre, so if you don't have to be in the centre it is easily reachable. Would also make a good venue to visit Matlock Bath and the surrounding area.

The location was superb very quiet and picturesque. The only noises you could hear were the owls during the night. Inside the decor was fresh and modern but was sympathetic to the house.
Staff were attentive and very helpful. The bedroom was very clean and furnished with taste, great shower too.
The restaurant had a good choice of dishes but not too many indicating to me that the ingredients and meals were fresh. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the surroundings top notch.
I'd definitely stay again.
