The hotel has two restaurants- a very expensive one which we did not patronise ( even the breakfasts are expensive), and a Tapas restaurant on the ground floor. This we did visit ,only to experience the worst meal we've had anywhere in the world! What we ordered was so bad we sent it back to the kitchen after only one bit and were not charged. Perhaps the usual chef was out of commission. Anyway, it was the only blip in an otherwise most excellent hotel- and it's position in Berlin is perfect: opposite one of the main railway stations and an easy stroll to Unter den Linden and the Galleries Lafayette where we often had breakfast or evening meals. The hotel also has little bar in the foyer- a handy coffee stop before bed as there are no facilities for making drinks in the rooms. |

The car parking cost was overpriced at 20 euro per night, this price over 3nights cost nearly as much as the hire cost for the car. |
