This was a very good low-budget choice - central and convenient for Paddington station, with the reception and other facilities of a more expensive hotel, but located in lower-cost rooms in a separate building across the road. Staff were very friendly and informal. I didn't investigate the bar or restaurant so I can't comment on the food or drink, but I would use this hotel again and would recommend it to others. |

The king-size bed leaves no room to get around it. The rest of the furniture is crammed in so that you cannot open the (small) wardrobe. The room was hot and the air-conditioning would not cool for more than 2 minutes, in spite of three complaints. The TV did not work until the third day, when I pointed out that there were no batteries in the remote control. The staff do not listen to complaints but give empty assurances that problems will be fixed (they are not). The room had not been cleaned (bobby pins on the floor) and milk on the "welcome" tray was not replaced. Very poor value for money. |

This is a nice hotel, the interior of the room is lovely. It's a bit pricey for just an overnight stay in London, taking into account it's slightly out of the centre of London. But being away from the centre means that it's quiet. I would gladly stay here again.......... for £10 pounds less. |

I was at the top of the building, no lift. There was a stair where the carpet was dangerously loose. Room was very small. Good TV screen. Quiet. Pillow was too thin and a postage stamp size. Shower door did not fit properly - water came out and soaked the towel I deliberately laid there. Good location. Food was fine - most hotels serve coffee if nothing else. |
