This is a great location for a visit to Liverpool. Having secure parking is invaluable. Thiswas my second stay and I'm sure I will be back!

The apartment is easy to get to by bus but the current online details only give directions by car. It is also not known by taxi drivers but if you tell them it is near Princes Dock they will know where you mean. The Tourist Information office at Ablert Dock doesn't have bus maps which is a pain- if you arrive at Lime Street Station you can get bus info from the Travel centre outside in Queens Square bus station. We did leave bus map and timetables in the apartment so hopefully others will leave them too. The main bus company we used was Arriva and you can get a day ticket for £3 which allows you to get on and off the buses all day - and the circular bus - S2 - that stops outside the apartment - is covered by this. Be warned though when the Cruise Liners come in the buses won't go into the bus stop for fear of knocking down tourists looking the wrong way and stepping out in front of them!!!!!!!!
The apartment has good facilities for cooking, washing etc. and they provided coffee, tea, milk (jiggers), sugar and biscuits and a bottle of wine! There are several places close by for breakfast and plenty of eateries and bars in Albert Dock and the city centre - both only about 15-20 mins walk (and i've got a gammy leg so probably quicker for fitter folk). But if you want to cook for yourself the nearest grocer is a small Sainsbury's which more caters for office lunches than general food.
It was very surreal to wake up one morning and see between the buildings the cruise liner come in on the Mersey.
If you'd used the fold up spare bed for a child you'd have had to put the child in the living room/diner/kitchen - so not sure how that would work if you wanted to sit in there.
Overall very convenient, clean, bright, quiet: bar a sudden rush of people leaving the building at 06.15 a.m. on Monday morning and crashing doors - not sure what that was all about - but short lived and all other nights were so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Only 2 downsides in summer:
1. the thin curtains - so be prepared to wake up early.
2. mosquitos. The ground floor lobbies were full of mozzies and we had a number in the apartment so we had to swat a few then close the bedroom window. I guess the owners will need to invest in mosquito screens for the apartment in due course.

This apartment wasso clean and modern, and was such a nicer experience than staying in a hotel room. In a convenient location for albert docks and short walk into town. Parking was ok as it was for one car but there are other car parks in the area. Would definately stay here again!
