This is a DeVere hotel but the room we stayed in was quite poor for the standard you would expect. Nothing like the pictures shown. It was stated that the room would be in an annex. As we arrived in the dark it was difficult to find due to poor signs. Also we were in a first floor room and the stairs where extremely steep and narrow, making it difficult to carry luggage. The room had 2 missing lightbulbs. The bathroom deffinately in need of upgrading. This hotel requires a lot of attention. |

The room was expensive and extremely small. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and by far this was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. It was above a "training area" and can only be expressed as "studentish". Reception were polite and the guy behind the bar pleasant. For the money. I thought it was very over priced. the hotel could do with painting outside and the bedding in the room was far from clean. The walls are paper thin and I had the pleasure of hearing the chap next door snoring all night! Never again!!!! |

We arrived at about 9.30 and there was no food available of any sort. There seemed to be a group of conference people in the bar who were monopolising the staff. We eventually got a drink but had to sit in the reception area as the noise in the bar made it impossible to have a conversation. After a disturbed night (people walking up and down the endless corridors and slamming doors) we rose at 6.30 and left. Breakfast was not available that early. |
