The hotel is still undergoing its refurbishment programme - this was clear due to the 24 hour reception only being accessible by phoning, what I assumed was wiring for an intercom system was just hanging out of the wall! Luckily I had their number in my mobile! Once inside the communal areas are still awaiting decoration, but I was pleased with the quality of decor in my room and in the restaurant, and the bed was extremely comfortable :-) Water temperature in the shower was marginal, but apart from that I had a very relaxing stay, and a prompt wake-up call. |

In spite of ongoing refurbishment, our stay at the Eaton was nigh on perfect. The room we stayed in - 205 - had the "wow factor" - it felt like stepping into a magazine picture. LateRooms were somehow able to find us a price for the night which was £10 below the weekend price listed at reception. Lovely breakfast room. We would happily stay here again. |

I had read the Trip Advisor reviews and went on the strengtht of these. I have found them reliable. Incidently I avoided several hotels Hagley Road, nearer town, for that reason. The room was new and clean, strangely the bathroom lacks a mirror light. Certainly the builders are there but did not inconvenience us in any way. The real test is would I stay there again. Yes I would. |
