Modem for internet wasn't working even when the startup CD was provided. Very good customer care and very helpful people.

The hotel is located on the Quayside, and we stayed there the weekend of the 2007 Great North Run. The apartment offered us flexibility to cook for ourselves, which was good for our runners and because the restaurants in Newcastle were packed the night before the run. However, it would have been great to have some basics in the kitchen (olive oil, salt, pepper).
The apartment was clean, and cheaper than hotels would be in Newcastle over the weekend (but still three times what you would normally pay in newcastle for a weekend.) As the hotel is not very close to the centre of town (15 minutes walk up a steep hill), it would have been nice to have more support from the apartments about leaving our luggage somewhere convenient on the day we checked out. But otherwise, a good stay.

sorting the keys was the only drawback to staying in the apartment. other than that great stay and far better than a hotel in a similar price range.
would recommend it to anyone for business or leisure.
