What a lovely hotel, not cheap but very nice, we stayed in a studio which was just like a hotel room. Its in an ideal location for visiting Fort Augustus, food was good but the breakfast was delicious. |

The Lovat Arms was an unexpected gem of a hotel. The welcome was friendly and informative. The interior was fitted with good quality furnishings and our room, although small, was spotless. The bathroom was luxurious, the toilteries were organic and we had a superb view. The food was excellent. We expected a basic overnight stay to break our journey but wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended - this small hotel is clearly run with love and care by the family who own it. |

The Lovatt Arms is a perfect example of how a hotel should be - friendly staff and excellent attention to detail throughout the hotel. The location is beautiful with wonderful views. I highly recommend a cream tea on the lawn. May be a little over priced, but that is a minor complaint for what was a very enjoyable for days stay. |
