THe staff were all very friendly, efficient & helpful. Setting & views are excellent. Room was in Kirk House not the main house but was large, clean & comfortable, with the biggest bathroom in the world!! However the room was badly planned - no bedside tables. no lights or light switches at bedside, a small rather old TV with no remote. THe room also needed some TLC - one lamp did not work, soap dish in bathroom had come off the wall & was lying on the window sill, the room door was very difficult to open & did not lock from the inside AND worst of all the smoke alarm had no battery!!!! With the exception of the smoke alarm these are all fairly minir points, but if Enterkine wants to charge these prices - even on Laterooms not cheap - then they really must improve their attention to detail in their rooms - good food is appreciated but not the full picture for a guest. |

What a fantastic "bijou" little hotel. We just sank into the carpet in our room - the room was large and splendid. The restaurant was excellent and the food definitely 5* - and this was reflected in the price. What a great place to stay - especially for a birthday or anniversary |

This is a great Hotel, with excellent service from the staff. My only complaint is that we were charged a set price for a four course evening meal eventhough we only had two couses. This was not stated when we ordered. |
