Upon arrival we did not find the welcome particulary inviting, and infact we felt we were possibly putting the vendors out. We were also made to pay for the full accomodation upfront, before we entered the room. Light fittings were missing, remote control on the television did not work, when the toilet flushed it splashed up outside the pan, 1 bed sheet was stained, and the long life milk, which has a very long useby date, was out of date. Parking was good, breakfast was good. We have stayed in cheaper but better hotels. |

Very friendly, the staff could not do enough to help. It was a bit of an anniversary surprise for my wife and as part of this I asked for a bottle of bubbly to be left on ice in the room - nothing unusual there except I didn't get ripped off by the price which was a pleasant surprise for me!! Unfortunately the weather was wet so didn't get a chance to try the pool - only there 1 night. Would definitely stay again if visiting Torquay / Torbay. |
