We were very happy with the apartment, although a little tricky to find initially we were talked in by the helpful mobile contact we were given and met by someone to let us into the apartment. The apartment was very clean and modern and in a great location. There were a couple of lightbulbs not working in a couple of lamps but that was the only small quibble we had! The rate for the apartment did shoot up once we got to 1st of August but I think that is to be expected during the festival. Being on the Royal Mile it was great to look out the windows and see the vibe of the festival however it was quite noisey if the windows were open (they were suitably soundproofed not to disturb us in the evening times however). |

Thistle street is an excellent location for central Edinburgh. The apartment was well turned out and had all the essentials provided for our weekend. The only negative point was that the 3 bedroom apartment had only one bathroom - which made getting up in the mornings quite lengthy! |

Stayed for two nights at Thistle Street Loft. Beautiful flat in an excellent location and highly recommended. Spacious, very modern 3 bedroomed property which has been very well designed and laid out with every convenience laid on. Superbly equipped kitchen and lounge and perfect for a family/friends break. Flat sits just off George Street and it will take you weeks to sample just some of the excellent restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity. Tiny niggles to the owner and i will know next time - a welcome pack(eg milk, coffee etc) would be very welcome if you arrive later as we did and the reception for the Sky TV was hopeless. I had to have a wee dig but i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to return. |
