We stayed at some very dubious hotels on the way to Manchester Airport and wish we had found The Curzon earlier. I don't know how many stars it has but in our opinion it deserves five for friendliness and comfort with some wonderful personal touches that make it a really good place to keep coming back to. The food is excellent and the chef is available for any specialities one would like. The gardens are lovely and it is only a short pleasant walk into Chester. I look forward to staying there again. Yvonne and Gordon are great hosts. |

Met with friendliness and charm by hotel owners and bar staff. Although between lunch and dinner time we were provided with excellent sandwiches and drinks. The room was large and furnished with exceptional good taste. Dinner was excellent with a good choice on the menue, sufficient for any palate yet not too overwhelming. We were on the way to Manchester airport and broke the journey to stay there and will do so again in the future. |

A welcoming atmosphere and helpful owners contributed to an enjoyable stay at the Curzon. Within walking distance of chesyer city and racecourse adds to the convenience of the location. The hotel lies on a maiin road but traffic noise was not intrusive. The bedrooms have an old-fashioned appeal and are generously sized. We did not try the dinner menu but would do so if staying again |
