Find Coundon Lodge down an Oak-lined driveway, set on 5 acres of gardens and woodland. 2 miles from the City Centre and yet in the heart of the Green Belt. Ample parking. Rooms have exquisite views onto a large pond filled with wildlife, over the Courtyard and Coach Houses and down through the Ancient Arden of Coventry. Guests are welcome to relax in our Lounge with its hand carved fireplace and TV/DVD, or on the terrace or dining area. A study is available for use with broadband access. WIFI is also enabled at the Lodge. A full English breakfast is served between 7am and 10.00am. Local to golf range, walking routes, parks, pubs and restaurants.

From Junction 3 of the M6, take 2nd exit for Coventry City Centre (A444) 2nd exit at next roundabout signposted for Holbrooks. Next roundabout turn left then quickly right onto Burnaby Road. At end of this road 2nd exit at roundabout onto Tamworth Road and then next left onto Waste Lane. Left at the end of this road, and first right onto Coundon Green. Coundon Lodge is first turning on the right. From A45 come off at Allesley (Jaguar Browns Lane Plant) and take A4414 to roundabout, where second exit is Coundon Wedge Drive. At next main roundabout take third exit (right) and the next right turn is Coundon Green. Coundon Lodge is first turning on the right.

Lovely house shame that it is starting to look its age and no en suite but the look is not what I paid for so all in all it was good value for money.

The guest house is on the edge of Coventry overlooking fields. I had a lovely room, unfortunately both showers in the bathrooms were being repaired. The cooked breakfast was wonderful.
