We stayed at this hotel for our last 3 nights in Milan. It looks a bit shabby from the outside but the interior is very nice and modern if a little dark inside. We chose the hotel based on previous good reviews as well as it's proximity to the train and bus station to make the next step of our return journey easier and it couldn't have been better. Literally across the road from the station, perfect to hop on the train to go to the Lakes or other places close by. Although perfect for the train station and buses to the airports, the area itself is a bit seedy, so bear this in mind as would not suit those wanting to be in a pretty part of the city. However, most places we wanted to visit were just a cab ride away and Milan have a very safe taxi service used in most places with both yourself and the hotel receiving the taxi name and number at time of booking. The customer service at the hotel was excellent, very helpful staff. The rooms were contemporary with high ceilings with white and clean bedding. The bathroom was small but very nice. The hotel do not provide irons/ironing boards but they provide an ironing service which was very good but not cheap. Breakfast, as at other Starhotels was mainly continental but fine. |

Wonderful location across the road from Central Station. Restaurant was pretty quiet and the service and food were exceptional. Good choice at breakfast including bacon (the Italian sort) sausages and scrambled eggs along with much more healthy stuff. |

The hotel was perfectly located for those arriving into Milan by train (Stazione Centrale) or on the airport shuttle bus from Malpensa- it is literally across the street and has signage on top of the building. The central tourist area (Duomo, La Scala) is a short metro ride away. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the room was modern, surprisingly spacious for a European hotel and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate, with choices including scrambled eggs, pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses. |

The hotel was very good overall. Disappointed by the car parking where you have to negotiate your way to an independant Car Park half a kilometere away and then walk back, which in over 30 degrees of heat is not user friendly... and it cost 25 Euros a day. |
