Our stay at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks was faultless. The staff were very friendly and the food delicious (we had dinner there in the evening and the biggest breakfast imaginable in the morning). Our room was both spotless and comfortable and the view from the window was magnificent. An excellent place to stay.

Our room wasn't cleaned, no dry towels left. Food in restaurant was incorrect and Icold and they were not interested when we commented. Music on Saturday night was a rock band that stopped at 12.40am then they smoked directly under our room window.

We stayed in a four poster bedroom,it was very ellegant and clean.The hotel was easy to find and also had parking.The evening meal was very good,and the breakfast was even better.The hotel also had a live band on the night we stayed.Excellent all round.
