Directions to Symphony Craw's Nest Hotel and Restaurant
FROM THE SOUTH Follow signs to Edinburgh and Forth Road Bridge M90. After crossing the Forth Road Bridge exit the M90 at junction 2A, heading for the A92 Kirkcaldy East. At Kirkcaldy follow signs for the A915 passing through Leven, Lundin Links and Upper Largo. At Upper Largo the road branches into the A917. Follow this through (Colinsburgh - B942) Pittenweem to Anstruther. Approaching Anstruther from the west side, take the first turning on the right. The Craw's Nest can be seen quite clearly from the main road. FROM THE NORTH From Dundee and the Tay Bridge follow the A92 to St Michaels, where the road becomes the A919 which should be followed through Leuchars to Guardbridge. At Guardbridge the road then becomes the A91 which takes you direct to St Andrews following the signs for Anstruther B9131 (9 miles). Once in Anstruther, take a right turn at the crossroads and follow the road, approximately half a mile, towards Pittenweem. The Craw's Nest is situated on the left hand side of the road, the last turning on the left.

Enjoyed our stay very much, but a word of warning. We arrived on a Saturday & unfortunatley we were not warned of a disco on Saturday night. When we retired to our room the noise was deafening. I complained at rececption , to find three other residents doing the same. The Manageress was sympathetic & got the music finished early, but it was after 12.30 before we could retire. The following evening we stayed out later, returning at midnight, only to find we were locked out the hotel. We had to ask a stranger for a mobile phone to call hotel, |

The room we had was in the Annexe and overlooked a council estate, no view whatsoever, the Bar food was excellent but breakfast was very disappointing on the Sunday morning, we decided to go at 9.30am and nothing had been replenished, we had a half hour wait for the cooked part of the breakfast and when it arrived it was cold, the tomato had been halved and was raw the potato scone was like leather not good at all for such a popular Hotel. Would eat in it again but don't think we would stay in it |

there is a general air of being in a 1960s time warp. What was a very popular hotel is becoming a bit stale and down at heel. |

I have stayed at this hotel before, but I found this time it had gone downhill quite a bit. |
