From the M5 motorway take Junction 31 on to the A30. Take first exit signposted Exeter and Crediton (A377). From roundablout take first exit, signed Ide and Moretonhampstead. After half a mile turn left into Ide village. Continue through the village and drive for 2 - 3 miles to reach Dunchideock village. Look for a red telephone box on the left and take first left. After half a mile the road goes under a stone bridge. The Hotel drive is on the left after the bridge.

No shower, just bath.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
The service at the bar was very slow and poor the waitress doubling up with serving and running the bar.thus waited approx 10 mins for a drink.
More concerned over a party thus couples and single dinners kept waiting to be served. Food was good but small portions
Breakfast was better but as I left the dinning room the hotel staff were cleaning the adjacent open plan lounge with polish and a hoover not very relaxing environment

Lovely hotel, beautifull surroundings but a little hard to find. Service excellant. The rooms could do with being updated and showers in all rooms. Overall realy nice. Would definately stay here again.
