Poor all round - the room was small and very threadbare and "tatty", the shower dirty. The room had been recently "painted" but paint was slapped on and badly done. The wash basin was in bedroom, toilet and shower separate. Wash basin plug had been torn from its base. Bedside light had to be manoevered sideways to give a reasonable form of illumination to read in bed and thin walls meant you could hear the yawns of and conversations of other guests. Mercifully the bed was comfortable and linen clean. |

If I slept under the archways of Leeds Railway Station I would never stay at this hotel again. |

We arrived later Saturday night. Very friendly staff. We did not need a full meal but arrangements were made to prepare a sandwich. This was done with minimum of fuss and was very acceptable and reasonable charge. Food and service at breakfast was first class. Hotal a little run down but our room was clean and comfortable. Very good value for the money we paid. I would not hesitate to use again if visiting the area. |
