The Hayward Hotel

39 Dickson Road, Blackpool

We are a friendly, family run, non smoking hotel. We regret that all-male parties and stag-nights cannot be accepted. We are located near to the famous Funny Girls venue and are close to all the theatres and night life and just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the North Pier. We are close to a few car parks, there is the APCOA secure car park, a council car park and we are just 2 minutes walk from the bus station and Blackpool North train station and just 5 minutes away from all the attractions that Blackpool has to offer. We have a fully licensed bar with pool table and have mostly en-suite accommodation. The atmosphere is always jovial and friendly. If your stay includes a Saturday night, then there is a two night minimum stay. From 1st July 2007, all bedrooms as well as public areas will be non-smoking.

cant comment on the food as we didnt eat there but the owners were very nice friendly and helpfull only thing that i wasnt happy with was the lack of parking there was a multi nearby but at a price!!! £7 per day bit pricy i thought but very safe.Apart from that a really nice break very comfy bed and quiet cloe to shops and tower.

The breakfast was a standard breakfast and many people, including myself, do not like a 'standard breakfast'. Beans make me ill. Having a sign on the bar stating the breakfast choices and asking in advance for any special requirements would solve the issue of people being unhappy with the food given in the morning.
Other than this, the hotel was excellent, customer service was excellent.
Looking forward to it being no-smoking in the bar though.
