Best Western Woodlands is one of Dundee's finest hotels nestling close by the seaside village of Broughty Ferry. 38 individually designed en-suite bedrooms are peaceful and private and have all the contemporary comforts you would expect including free access to Wi-Fi. The hotel features a recently refurbished Indoor Leisure Club with a large swimming pool and a full range of relaxing facilities including gymnasium and steam room. The hotel has recently introduced an In-House Therapeutic Massage and Aromatherapy specialist. The period style Restaurant offers a home dining experience with an imaginative selecton of European and Scottish cuisine. The Lounge Bar serves a wide range of malt whisky and popular draught and bottled beers providing an informal and friendly atmosphere. In the summer months our outdoor patio offers a delightful sanctuary within which to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Very efficient and friendly reception staff however some of the younger waiting staff in the restaurant appeared completely disinterested in what they were doing. We only had one evening meal which was very average for the cost so decided not to try another. The leisure facilties were a real bonus and our room comfortable although the pressure of the shower was impossible to control and perhaps a little fierce! On the whole it was an ok hotel but certainly not one of the best we have stayed in within the Best Western Group.

Food in the restaurant was very good but put in a room on my own when there seemed other tables were available but atmosphere in other room seemed good. Would definately stay here again. Very good reception staff.
