    The Splendid Hotel in Nice is an excellent hotel, situated in a lovely area, quite close to the sea and the shopping areas. We were only sorry that we had only one night to spend there.

    Excellent hotel and staff. Very close to the main promenade. The pool on the roof is small but lovely views over the city (and jacuzzi is nice touch!). A little expensive but modest given the surrounding area and price rates. Did not eat there as cheaper to have breakfast out but looked nice from what we saw.
