The only complaint is the surcharge of £2 for using credit cards. This was not pointed out at check in. It is ridiculous that business travellers who always use credit cards should be charged in this day and age. This would certainly impact on my willingness to stay here again. I would stay again and recommend the hotel to a friend but with the information regarding the extra charge as a serious misgiving. |

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the centre of the city off the main shopping street. I found the staff to be very friendly and efficient, especially the conceirge. My car was parked a distance from the hotel and he walked me to my car and carried luggage back to hotel. The room was a bit of a let down though being a single it was very small and was in need of redecoration. Some refurbishment work was going on upstairs it was very noisy early in the morning. The window was facing offices across the street and there was little privacy during the day. It could have done with net curtains so the light could get in and I could still have privacy. The ensuite bathroom was very clean and shiny. The TV had only 4 basic channels and no satellite. So in all great location, food good but expensive (breakfast £17.50), service excellent but room a bit of a let down for the price. I have been able to get the Sheraton for the same price - far better. |

The food & service in the Restaurant was excellent. We look forward to seeing the refurbished rooms later this year. |
