Easy to find. Spa was very good for relaxing, although U16's were not allowed in. Breakfast was tasty but selection was not vast. Rooms were very hot and our particular rooms (204 and 205) were above the kitchen and a loud extractor fan was operating between 07:00-22:00, which was very annoying. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quite expensive for what you get compared with say a Premier Inn.

The main dissapointment is the standard of the traditional rooms - e.g. those offered on LateRooms, but not those shown on the hotel's web-site. These have been neglected for some years and are in desperate need of renovation. The food was also very poor, especially considering the high prices charged.

Hotel room decor., !Tired! including paper coming off the walls, general impression given poor. Breakfast good ingredients but only tepid, had to request breakfast reheat , toast being provided late, on one occasion had to ask for toast and it was cold.
Staff varied, had to ask for room change one member of reception very helpful found satisfactory alternative although once again decor looked tired. Cheerfulness in the breakfast room applied to only one female member of staff.
This hotel is in a prime position and the setting is great, if they paid more attention to detail and put right issues raised would be happy to stay at some stage in the future. Thank you.
