Hotel LLeo

The hotel was ideally situated just off Placa de Catalunya and very easy to find via the underground metro. The hotel looked
clean & attractive from the outside although our room could have done with a little TLC. We had a front facing room with a small
balcony as requested and the rooftop pool was a major selling point although it was somewhat smaller (and colder!) than the
website suggested. We did not stay in the hotel to eat so could`nt comment on the food but the first floor restaurant looked
inviting. Overall we would recommend mainly for the location, but only gave 3/6 for VFM as all the hotels in that area seemed
v.expensive

Really enjoyed our short stay here. The location was brilliant - just around the corner from the vibrant 'Rambles'. We spent our 2 days exploring the main attractions in Barcelona, most within walking distance or using public transport all of which were 'on the doorstep' from the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room surprisingly good quality for the price, even including a remote control bed for comfort!! The pool, situated on the roof was a reasonable size to cool off in and we didn't have a problem finding a sun-bed. We would most definately stay here again - in fact we probably would not look anywhere else !!

Hotel was clean and in a perfect location near Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, however without the noise. Swimming pool and roof terrace good for relaxing after a day sightseeing before going out in the evening. Only negative is that the staff were generally not particularily that friendly - most didn't even bother to say hello.

Relative to the cost, our room was very good. Location is fantastic, right beside Plaza Catulunya and Ramblas (200m). Reception staff were nothing special and only gave basic information and functional service, but this didnt matter. Didnt try any food here as there is better choice nearby. Room was very clean and spacious and bathroom was good size, especially for Spain. TV only had 4 local channels.
