The hotel was easy to find, directions were very good. It is a bit 'out of the way' so nowhere else you can walk to.
We ate in the bistro on Friday night. The food was superb and beautifully presented The deserts were delicious.
We had a bottle of house white chardonnay at £11.50 a bottle and found it most acceptable

Beautiful views over golf course. Only thing that lets it down is the airless bedroom! We had a ground floor room with opening french doors but no other means of ventilation. On warm nights we were having to open these doors which is compromising security. A fan portable fan was far from adequate as it circulates only the air in the room. The rooms needed either air con or an opening and lockable window. If you could secure the french doors partially open then that would improve things greatly. Otherwise we would highly recommend this hotel and the location is excellent.

I have stayed at the Lanhydrock 3 times now and every time it has been truely outstanding. The service is second to none and the rooms are not only very comfortable but also spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this hotel to all.
