We appreciated the text message from the owner on arrival with instructions of entry, although we still found the place a little hard to find once there it was well worth the value and location in relation to proximity of cafes and ability to get to major attractions. Walking distance from Oxford Road train station. Well worth the visit.

Excellent service from owner, fantastic place, all one could need for a home away from home, especially for the business user. Would definately stay there again when in Manchester.

Great appartment, will most definately stay again. It was nice to find a modern build which felt so homely...it was clear the owners had put thought into making their guests comfortable, with tasteful music and literature, refreshments and snacks..a real home from home (and the matress was great quality..not common in my experience of rental property).
Owner met us onsite and was proffessional and welcoming......to sum up....great job Mill View Appts...will see you again soon

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2008. Owner/organiser was very helpful when I wanted to book an extra night at late notice.
Parking close by - at the student carpark is good value at 5.50 for 24 hours.
Very enjoyable stay - apartment was spotless. Few gripes, like the handle on the toaster missing, very dirty glasses in the cupboard that we had to wash before use, the wireless connection which was up and down the first night (which of course the owners can do nothing about).
I guess the main issue was the building work opposite that started every morning at 8.00am. On the Friday morning - not an issue, but on Saturday morning, and then Sunday morning (yes Sunday morning), it's not acceptable. Again nothing the owner can do - and if I was a resident I would have phoned the police (Manchester city council webpage states no work on a Sunday and no noisy work before 9am on a Saturday - http://www.manchester.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?categoryID=412&documentID=2956&pageNumber=6). Cutting pavestones is not a quiet operation!!!! However, that's the risk around this area with so much building work going on.
I would stay here again - but would ask for a second key, as you cannot close the door by just pulling it - you need the key. That meant the morning the girlfriend stayed in bed and I went to work, I had to take the key. The girlfriend was a 'prisoner' until I returned ;-)
