We have stayed at this hotel before and both times we were in the lodge. We have also stayed in the hotel proper. The hotel is more expensive (but you get breakfast) a little bit shabby and quite noisy (when we were there). In contrast the lodge is modern, clean comfortable and quiet and quite a bit cheaper. The lodge is ideal for people who like to be a bit more independant as there is no reception or room service although the staff are very helpful if you need them. All in all a good value good quality hotel. |

Generally good value for money except breakfast in the hotel. I felt it was a little excessive to be charged £10 for literally just a cup of tea and a packet of breakfast cereal with some milk. |

Location is excellent in terms of proximity to motorway. Food was average although there was lots (too much and slightly overcooked). Booked it on the basis that I could get on to braodband but could not even after asking the staff. Not so good for the business user. Workmen started working on the new rooms at 07.45 which was slightly earlier than anticpited/expected. Disapointed overall. |
